What is Preferred Purchase?

• DETR designed this program to help create jobs in organizations that employ mentally & physically disabled persons by selling goods to government agencies.

• NRS 334.025 allows government agencies to bypass the competitive bidding process and purchase directly from designated agencies like the Blind Center.

Why Remanufactured Toner Cartridges?

• Nevada State Purchasing Office released a directive to Nevada Agencies to use remanufactured cartridges to lower costs and Nevada's environmental footprint. Special contract pricing approved by State.
